From food on the table to a roof overhead, from skills for life to celebrations of community — every program we offer is rooted in one belief: that every person deserves hope, dignity, and a path forward.
No family in St. Louis should go hungry. Our food pantry provides groceries, fresh produce, and essential household items to individuals and families in need — free of charge, no questions asked.
"Food is the first step toward stability. When a family is fed, they can begin to focus on everything else."
Every child deserves a strong start. Our youth programs provide afterschool support, summer learning, and back-to-school resources to help young people in St. Louis succeed — in school and in life.
"When we invest in our children, we invest in the future of our entire community."
True empowerment means having the tools to build a better life. Our life-skills classes equip adults with practical knowledge and confidence — from financial literacy to job readiness — so they can achieve lasting independence.
"Skills are the bridge between where someone is and where they want to be."
Safe housing is the foundation of healing. We are working to establish temporary low-income housing within our restored building — providing a stable, dignified place to stay for individuals and families in crisis.
"A safe place to sleep is not a luxury. It is the starting point for everything else."
We celebrate our community's history, culture, and resilience. Through our annual Juneteenth celebration and ongoing advocacy work, we amplify voices, honor heritage, and fight for the dignity and rights of every person we serve.
"Celebrating where we come from gives us the strength to build where we are going."
All five of our programs work together to meet people where they are and walk with them toward a better future — in St. Louis and beyond.
